The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department is trying to reach into the community to create stronger bonds with citizens.

PMRPD has three officers, Dan Smelas , Jim Apgar and Dan Jones, who specialize in community related activities. These officers are available for arranging SWAT Demonstrations, K-9 Demonstrations, fingerprinting children, bicycle safety, stranger danger, GANG awareness, neighborhood watch and crime prevention programs.
